Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Traffic Collision

Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in California at the age of 55.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The renowned game designer passed away following his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
