Assassin's Creed Unveils Unexpected AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden cult.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Transformations
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an special katana alongside several items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
